New, Expanded, Primary Share Account Number
As part of the upgrade, we have moved to a new relationship-based account structure. The new account number system incorporates your current Member Number into a new Primary Share Account Number.
Here’s how to determine your new Primary Share Account Number
To determine your new Primary Share Account Number, simply place the numbers “2010” after your existing Dexter Credit Union Member Number.
For example, if your current Dexter Credit Union Member Number is 0000012345, then your new Dexter Credit Union Primary Share Account Number will be 123452010.
This change to the account number structure will not affect account access.
Members do not have to take any action as a result of the change in account structure.
• There will be no changes to your payees, scheduled transfers or accounts used for bill payment.
There is a New Telephone Banking Number: 1-888-774-6733
The first time you use Telephone Banking, you will be asked to enter your new Dexter Credit Union Primary Share Account Number (See New, Expanded, Primary Share Account Number section) and the last four (4) digits of the social security number associated with that account as your temporary Personal Identification Number (PIN).
The system will then provide instructions for changing your PIN to one of your choosing.
September Statements: Statements covering September activity will be the final statements produced from our current processing system.
October Statements: Statements covering October activity will be the first statements produced from our new processing system. These statements will consolidate all deposit and loan accounts owned by the member into one statement.
