Mary Ann Silva, Loan Service Representative in our Central Falls office, is overjoyed to be a part of the Dexter Credit Union family. Although she has only been with us for a little over a year, her enthusiasm for her job, for the Credit Union, for her colleagues, and for our members has earned her the title of Employee of the Quarter

She joined us after a 17-year career with Home Loan Investment Bank in Warwick, where she had most recently worked as a residential loan processor until that position ended. Here at Dexter, she works on the facing side of the lending process — working directly with members seeking auto, personal, and home equity loans. "I absolutely love it," Mary Ann says.

"We’re a team here," she explains. "We all work together; we all work hard. All of the people I work with deserve to be Employee of the Quarter. I couldn’t ask for better people to work with; they are always there for me.

"I think I might have worked extra-hard, to prove that they had made the right choice in hiring me. But my dedication and determination doesn’t end when my Quarter ends," she adds. "I hope to be right here, working hard, continuing to learn, and to be just as committed and happy as I am now for many more years to come."

What is Mary Ann’s secret to success? Perhaps its her goal of giving members "the best service every day, and always sharing a smile and a wave when they come into the office."

An East Providence resident, Mary Ann is also celebrating one of the perks of being selected as Employee of the Quarter: a reserved parking spot right outside the door. "You couldn’t ask for a better time to be Employee of the Quarter than for January through March. Things just don’t get much better than that!"
